Teapots are enjoyable and challenging to create - a combination of function and artistic form.

Of course, teapots have to hold liquid.

• To shape the teapot's body, Steve pushes clay into a mold of a unique garden rock.

And, it's a pleasure to watch the tea pour gracefully into my cup.

• Steve wheel throws a spout to the perfect length and fits it onto the teapot's body.

I expect the teapot to be well-balanced when I lift it.

• Steve stretches the clay into a curved handle and attaches it to the top of the pot.

Who knew? It takes 5 minutes to brew your tea and days to finish the little teapot. But your teapot will last a lifetime to brew many different teas. Enjoy!
