Companion with Leaves (Artist #482) 2024 Collection

Each Companion is unique but this one has a flourish -- Autumn leaves on its shoulders, due to a collaboration between the two potters -- Louise and Steve -- who own BlackTree Studio. 

The leaves are glazed. Its "quiet" face is created with an iron oxide stain mixed with the stoneware clay.   PLUS, this is one of the Companions that is also a rattle, due to a small clay ball placed inside before firing.
