Stoneware Wall Platter

This Wall Platter is part of BlackTree Studio Pottery's Artful Collection. T

Hand-built by Steve who used its surface as a clay "canvas" to experiment with carefully selected glazes. He fired the platter in an extremely hot kiln at 2300 degrees Fahrenheit. The intense heat and atmosphere inside the kiln dramatically altered the platter's colors. The heat from the kiln also created fissures in the stoneware, adding to the dynamic quality of the piece.

• Thestoneware  platter is designed solely as a decorative piece and is not functional.
• Approximately a 14.5" diameter 
  
• The platter's underside is unglazed and fitted with a wire fitting for hanging.
